This is mono-Archive -JAPAN-.

Here’s a report from Tokyo.
The weather on the 25th was sunny with occasional clouds.
It gets hot when the sun comes out, but when it’s hidden, the weather is quite pleasant.
There’s little sticky humidity, so you can comfortably get by in just a T-shirt.
Fahrenheit: 82.4°F

Speaking of yesterday, the Wu-Tang Clan held their final concert in Japan.

Unfortunately, it seems not all members were able to attend,
but I’m sure the audience at the venue etched their heroic figures firmly into their memories.

Now, onto the main topic.
I’d like to introduce the DARTH MAUL BOBBLE HEAD (made by FUNKO).

I think I bought it around 2004.
I recall it was released in Japan the year before the premiere of
“Star Wars Episode III – Revenge of the Sith – .”
There was a huge lineup of STAR WARS BOBBLE HEADS available at the time, and I had a hard time deciding which one to buy.
That’s why I chose DARTH MAUL.
He’s a “SITH” who appeared in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace – ,” and even as an enemy, the sight of him wielding a double-bladed lightsaber is undeniably cool!
His deadly battle with Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his then-apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi was a nail-biting showdown.

The actor who played Darth Maul was Ray Park.
Aside from his role as Darth Maul, the performance that personally left the biggest impression on me was probably his appearance in “Fanboys.”
I assume any “Star Wars” fan has seen this movie, but here’s a brief synopsis.

~It’s a movie about a group of die-hard “Star Wars” geeks who try to steal the unreleased film of “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” for a friend who has terminal cancer and not much time left.
For the sake of their friend, who is suffering from terminal cancer and will likely die without seeing the new “Star Wars” movie, they sneak into George Lucas’s office, “Skywalker Ranch”... that’s the gist of the movie. ~

Ray Park appears as a security guard there, standing in their way—and despite being a security guard, he performs a Darth Maul action sequence.
Honestly, I didn’t realize it was the same person at first, but when he performed the action sequence, his movements were identical, so
I realized, “It’s the real Ray Park (Darth Maul)!”
In addition to Ray Park, other actors who appeared in “Star Wars” make appearances.
It’s also packed with “Star Wars” parodies.

At first glance, it seems like a movie with a dark theme, but it’s packed with humor and is actually a very moving film.
It’s even officially endorsed by George Lucas himself.
If you haven’t seen it yet, please give it a watch.
Believe it or not, you can watch it for free on YouTube.
