This is a report from Tokyo.

On June 3rd, Typhoon No. 6 approached and passed through Japan, causing rough weather in Kyushu, Shikoku, Kinki, and Kanto regions.

In Tokyo, heavy rain and chilly temperatures, with temperatures below 20°C (68°F), were due to the typhoon.

I can't recall a typhoon approaching or making landfall in June before,

and it seems this is the first time in 14 years that a typhoon has made landfall in June.

This typhoon is sometimes referred to as a "storm（a-ra-shi）" in Japan,

and on May 31st, the Japanese idol group "Arashi" ended their approximately 26-year career.

In Japan, both male and female idol groups enjoy tremendous popularity,

and "Arashi" was a nationally popular idol group.

It seems they will now be pursuing individual activities.

And there was another piece of news...

The "30th CELEBRATION" expansion pack from the "Pokémon Card Game MEGA" series, commemorating the 30th anniversary of Pokémon cards, will be released worldwide on September 16, 2026.

In recent years, these cards have often been released first in Japan and then resold at inflated prices overseas.

With this worldwide simultaneous release, it seems that the reselling between countries will likely subside.
